Zo ziet de hoes van de nieuwe Antony and the Johnsons eruit

Toegegeven: de muziekhistorie heeft wel eens appetijtelijker ogende albumhoezen voortgebracht. Maar het ziet er wel weer verantwoord kunstzinnig en best indringend uit, dit artwork bij The Crying Light, het nieuwe album van Antony & The Johnsons. We zien hier de danser Kazuo Ohno, die ook al de hoes van de recente Another World EP sierde, en die een grote inspiratiebron is voor Antony Hegarty. De nieuwe plaat is dan ook aan Ohno opgedragen.

De opvolger van het bejubelde I Am A Bird Now uit 2005 komt op 17 januari uit. In februari gaan Antony & The Johnsons eerst op tournee door de Verenigde Staten. Naar verluidt wordt een Europese tournee momenteel ingepland.
